Aitsuki is a home-visit acupuncture practice based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. We practice LA-style acupuncture — “meditative acupuncture” — a gentle approach built on a simple idea: minimal stimulation, deep change.
A quiet kind of treatment
Most sessions use only one to three ultra-fine needles, working with the nervous system rather than against the body. Many patients drift into a calm, meditative state — some fall asleep and keep no memory of the needles at all.
- Gentle enough for children and highly sensitive patients — a finger-only technique (no needles) is available
- Sessions take about 40–60 minutes, in your own home, hotel or care facility
- Everyday clothes are fine — no preparation needed
Your practitioner
Kosuke Tanaka is a nationally licensed acupuncturist (Japan). He trained under Takeshi Komatsu, a Japanese acupuncturist who built his career in Los Angeles over four decades and served as a trainer for the USA Olympic track & field team. Aitsuki's treatment carries that lineage: precise, minimal, and deeply attentive.
